VOLUNTEER

MINISTRY TEAMS
Since Hurricane Katrina, we have worked with countless numbers of teams and volunteers who have come from around the country and world.

Hosting teams has become a big part of ministry in New Orleans. Teams will have the opportunity to experience God in a practical and very real way while serving the people of New Orleans. Community Outreach, Servanthood Evangelism, Food Ministry, Adopt a Block, Children's & Youth Ministry, Senior Citizen Outreach, Prayer Walks are among the ministries available. Teams will also participate in simple and practical teaching on reaching people with the gospel and love of Christ along with times of prayer, team unity and team building.

COST
There is a cost applicable to those who require housing and meals while volunteering with us.  The cost to participate with is as a short term volunteer is a minimal fee of $35 per person/per day. In addition there is a $20 non-refundable registration fee per person.  This cost will cover the cost of housing and meals.

All fees must reach our office no later than 3 weeks prior to your date of arrival.

INTERNSHIP
Internships are available for those who are committed disciples of Christ desiring to serve and learn in a hands-on environment. Short and long term internships are available for 3, 6, 9 months and 1 year.

Those interested must request and submit an internship form. (see below) Submission of registration/forms does not guarantee accepatance. A series of forms must be submitted and interviews conducted for consideration.
